A novel unified scalable cloud metering framework based on data modeling that acts along with the data representation as a standard template for building cloud metering solutions.
Applications:
For Front-end Users:
1- Cloud Metering Collection Engine (CMCE) runs as daemons
2- Connect to the Cloud Metering Extension (CME) over Cloud Metering Control Protocol (CMCP) to download metering construct for resources to be metered
3- CMCEs generate metering data
4- Metering data stored in memory caches ready to be pulled by middle-tier
For Middle-Tier Users:
1- Correlation Engine (CE) pull data over a lightweight commuincation protocol
2- CEs download correlation schema from CME
3- Perform metering consolidation tasks to aggregate related metering data.
4- Submit data to back-end over open service orieted interface.
For Back-End users:
1- Unified Service oriented storage
2- Process and store metering data for further use by other application.
