Falling Walls Lab Cairo

Falling Walls Lab Cairo invites academics and professionals to present their ideas, business models, research projects and social initiatives for a chance to qualify as one of the 100 finalists in the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin. The 100 finalists are the winners of each Falling Walls Lab from different cities around the world. Each participant has an equal 3 minutes to introduce his or her idea. Of the 100 finalists, three winners are selected to receive a cash prize and present their ideas again at the Falling Walls Conference to 800 significant guests.

Audience:

Participants consist of Bachelor and Master students, PhD candidates, post-docs, junior professors and entrepreneurs up to the age of 35. All are innovators from many different fields and disciplines. The jury is a collection of prominent science, academic and business figures.

Objectives:

Falling Walls connects ambitious young innovators with professionals, facilitating international support and interchange of ideas and expertise. It aims to promote innovations in all fields and to help nurture them through insights from specialists, competition and interdisciplinary discussion.

Cost:

Attendence is for free but doors are closed once the room is full however, Attendees must undergo a thorough filtration process, sending in a video of their presentation and introducing their innovative ideas. The application deadline is June 30th. Apply here.
